She set those shows a-dancin' in London at the Menier Chocolate Factory, a baby giant of a play factory which also brought Sunday in the Park with George to Broadway. The head of the company, David Babani, was plainly pleased to see his shows across the street from each other. "We hopefully have staked our claim for a long time," he crowed, and there's more where these three came from, he promised.
"We will be opening around the middle of May a world premiere of a new musical, Paradise Found, directed by Hal Prince and Susan Stroman, starring Mandy Patinkin and John McMartin and Shuler Hensley and Kate Baldwin and Judy Kaye," he said. "Then, Trevor Nunn, who did A Little Night Music, returns to the Chocolate Factory for our first ever Andrew Lloyd Webber — Aspects of Love."
