The conversation with the married lyricists is moderated by Michael A. Kerker and features the talents of Tony winners Christine Ebersole and Tyne Daly as well as Lari White.
"Get the stories behind the songs at this exclusive NJPAC event," according to press notes. "Marilyn and Alan Bergman, 16-time Oscar nominees (with three wins) and recipients of multiple Emmy and Grammy awards, have enriched the Great American Songbook for more than five decades with their masterful, poetic lyrics."
Among their dozens of hits are "The Way We Were," “The Windmills of Your Mind,” “What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?,” “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “It Might Be You,” “How Do You Keep the Music Playing?” and “The Summer Knows.” They also penned the lyrics for the Broadway musical Ballroom.
