Cabaret & Concert News Christine Ebersole Launches NYC Cabaret Series After the Ball... September 11 The Tony-nominated co-star of War Paint will do her solo show Mondays at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

Two-time Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole, who was again nominated this year for her performance in War Paint, has lined up a busy fall for herself, launching a series of Monday evening cabaret appearances at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

She will reprise her hit 2016 concert After The Ball… on September 11, and will continue with performances September 18, October 9 and 30, and November 6, 13, and 20. She said she plans to do the cabaret show concurrently with her appearance in War Paint. The cabaret shows will all be at 7 PM.

Ebersole, who won Tony Awards for her appearances in 42nd Street (2001) and Grey Gardens (2006), was nominated as Best Actress in a Musical this year for her portrait of combative cosmetics pioneer Elizabeth Arden, in competition with her co-star Patti LuPone and others, including eventual winner Bette Midler.

Among standards she plans to sing are Kern and Fields’ “The Way You Look Tonight,” the Gershwins’ “’S Wonderful,” and “Lazy Afternoon” from The Golden Apple.

Christine Ebersole has been a special guest performer on five of Playbill’s Broadway on the High Seas cruises.
