News Citing Edwards' Health, Julie Andrews Withdraws from PBS New Year's Celebration Academy Award-winning actress Julie Andrews has withdrawn as the host of the PBS broadcast of "From Vienna: The New Year’s Celebration 2011." Journalist Paula Zahn will step in.

"My husband is having some health issues and my obligation is to stay in L.A. at this time. It is with regrets that I must take a ‘rain check’ this year and I appreciate Paula Zahn's generosity for stepping in," Andrews said in a statement.

The beloved stage and screen star is married to Oscar-winning director Blake Edwards. The two have collaborated on screen in "Darling Lili," "10," "Victor/Victoria" and "S.O.B." Edwards also directed and penned the book for the Broadway production of Victor/Victoria, in which Andrews starred.

The New Year's Celebration will feature the Vienna Philharmonic, under the direction of Franz Welser-Möst from Vienna’s Musikverein. The program will air Jan. 1, 2011, at 8 PM ET.
