Just Another Man is presented by the Nevada Conservatory Theatre at UNLV and features music by Holmes and Bill Fayne and lyrics by Holmes. Larry Moss directs. Set design is by Doug Schmidt; lighting is by Ken Billington and David Segal; and sound is by Peter Fitzgerald. According to press notes, "Just Another Man is based on the true story of Holmes' parents – his father an African-American jazz musician and his mother, a classically trained opera singer from Great Britain. It begins in 1944 and covers six decades."
Holmes is remembered as Joan Rivers' sidekick on her late-night talk show, as an "Entertainment Tonight" correspondent and for recording the 1970s single "Playground In My Mind." He has performed for many years at Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
