Teri Ralston, who was part of the original Broadway casts of Company and A Little Night Music, has released her debut solo recording on the LML Music label.

Entitled "I've Gotta Get Back to New York," the single CD was recorded live at New York's Metropolitan Room in January 2008. The 17-track disc features musical arrangements penned by Ralston's musical director Shelly Markham. Producers include LML Music's Lee Lessack and Mark Winkler and Shelly Markham.

In a statement Ralston said, "I am so thrilled to have finally done my first solo CD! I've been very fortunate to be part of several of cast albums, but I'd always put off doing a solo recording. I actually had several opportunities to do one, but I always got sidetracked by other projects. . . . It took years, but I finally did it. And I made it a live recording, which was so important to me. To borrow from Stephen Sondheim, 'Look, I made a hat, where there never was a hat.' And I couldn't be happier with the result."
