Classic Arts News Composer John Corigliano Appears at New York Bookstore January 11 Composer John Corigliano and conductor Jonathan Nott will speak at a free event at a Barnes and Noble store in Manhattan on January 11.
The two will appear in conversation, starting at 7 p.m., with Ted Wiprud, the director of education for the New York Philharmonic, as part of the New York Philharmonic Off-Stage at Barnes and Noble series.

The event takes place at the Barnes and Noble at 1972 Broadway, near Lincoln Center.

The Philharmonic will play Corigliano's Violin Concerto ("The Red Violin"), with Nott conducting, on January 12, 14, and 17 at Avery Fisher Hall and in Purchase, New York, on January 13. Joshua Bell is the soloist. Visit newyorkphilharmonic.org for more information.
