The production at the Nafe Katter Theatre on the university's Storrs campus, will be set in the 1920s and feature jazz music composed by Spencer Emanuel, with puppets designed by Tom Getchell. Director Paul Mullins described the play as "a mad knockabout farce complete with mistaken identities, Keystone cop chases, crazed conjurers, jealous wives and mistresses and shady guys with guns. But framing and underscoring this insanity is a beautiful and romantic story about the search for family and love; a story about loss and reconciliation."

The production will feature MFA candidates Brooks Brantly, Philip AJ Smithey, Kevin Coubal, Ryan Guess, Caroline Gombe Gretchen Goode, Christina Greer, Phil Korth, Robbie Thompson, Jr., and Brian Patrick Williams, and BFA candidates Scott Cooke, Jack Fellows, Zachary Kamin, Sarah Murdoch Billard, Rachel Rosado, and Desmond Thorne.

Equity actors Barbara Broughton and Harold Surratt will complete the ensemble.

The play follows two sets of identical twins, separated at birth, and the madcap romantic complications that result when the brothers from Syracuse end up in the other brothers' town of Ephesus.

The creative team for the production will include scenic designer Jeanette Drake, costume designer Sachiko Komuro, lighting designer Alex Goldberg and dramaturg Dassia Posner.
