The play will be performed at the Gerald Lynch Theater at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice March 10, 12 and 13 at 7 PM.

Quentin P., the central character in Zombie, is described in press notes as a "deceptively mild-mannered monologist" who happens to have a criminal history as a murderer and sex offender. Zombie received a 2008 NYFringe Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Solo Show.

The show will be directed by Thomas Caruso and feature sets by Josh Zangen, lighting by Joel E. Silver and music and sound design by Dierdre Broderick.

Before the March 12 performance of Zombie, a panel discussion will be held featuring Oates, a three-time Pulitzer Prize nominee and National Book Award winner, and Drs. Louis Schlesinger, Katherine Ramslund, and Abby Stein, who are all forensic psychologists and serial killer experts from John Jay College. Oates will sign copies of "Zombie" and her latest novel, "A Fair Maiden," after the performance.

Connington will lead post-show discussions after the March 10 and 13 performances. His acting credits include Spectacle of Spectacles, Mr. Gallico, All Mixed Up Inside My Head and Just Like That. Playwriting credits include Dating Rituals of the American Male, which he also performed; Lord Byron's Lover; Teach Me All About Love, Johnny Mathis; and an adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
