News Contes d’Hoffmann, Tosca, La Bohème and Dr. Atomic to Be Screened Free at Lincoln Center Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher's Metropolitan Opera staging of Offenbach's Les Contes d’Hoffmann will be showcased as part of the Met's "Live in HD" summer series in Lincoln Center Plaza.

The free series, running Aug. 28-Sept. 6, will be screened in front of the Metropolitan Opera in Lincoln Center Plaza.  A total of 3,100 seats will be available for each performance, which are presented without an intermission. Les Contes d’Hoffmann, featuring Anna Netrebko as Antonia and Joseph Calleja as Hoffmann, will be presented Sept. 1 at 7:45 PM. Sher, who earned a Tony for South Pacific at Lincoln Center Theater, will also stage the new musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown on Broadway this fall.

Also on the bill are Tosca (Aug. 28 at 8 PM); The Magic Flute (Aug. 29 at 8 PM); Der Rosenkavalier (Aug. 30 at 7:15 PM); Doctor Atomic (Aug. 31 at 7:45 PM); La Bohème (Sept. 2 at 8 PM); Hansel and Gretel (Sept. 3 at 8 PM); Turandot (Sept. 4 at 8 PM); Aida (Sept. 5 at 8 PM); and Carmen (Sept. 6 at 7:45 PM).

Lincoln Center is located on West 62nd and 65th Streets and Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues.
