The Shakespeare classic will begin performances there May 29 prior to an official opening June 3. The run is currently scheduled to play through Aug. 22.

The previously announced Jude Law will be joined by Ron Cook, Peter Eyre, Gwilym Lee, John MacMillan, Kevin R. McNally, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Matt Ryan, Alex Waldmann and Penelope Wilton.

Cook, who is currently playing Sir Toby Belch in the Donmar's production of Twelfth Night at Wyndham's and has previously appeared at the Donmar in Helpless, Juno and the Paycock and Glengarry Glen Ross, returns to the Donmar to play Polonius. Other theatre credits include the original National Theatre productions of Conor McPherson's The Seafarer and Patrick Marber's Howard Katz. His film credits include "Chocolat," "Quills," "Topsy Turvy," "Secrets and Lies" and "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover."

Eyre, who was previously seen at the Donmar in Murder in the Cathedral as part of the recent T.S. Eliot Festival and The Wild Duck, returns to the Donmar to play the Ghost of Hamlet's Father and the Player King. Oher recent theatre credits include Waste (Almeida Theatre), Terre Haute (New York, Trafalgar Studios and Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh) and Ring Round the Moon (Playhouse Theatre).

Lee, who will play Guildenstern, has appeared in Oedipus at the National and in Richard III for the RSC. His TV credits include "Waterloo Road," "Lewis" and "Mutual Friends." MacMillan, who will play Rosencrantz, has appeared in In the Red and Brown Water and The Member of the Wedding (both at the Young Vic), Piranha Heights (Soho Theatre), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Almeida Theatre) and Cymbeline (Cheek by Jowl).

McNally, who was previously in the Donmar's production of Ivanov at Wyndham's and World Music, returns to the Donmar to play Claudius. His other theatre credits include Boeing Boeing (Comedy Theatre), The Lady in the Van (Queen's Theatre) and Naked (Almeida and Playhouse Theatre). On film he has been seen in "Valkyrie," "Scoop," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Johnny English," "Entrapment," "Sliding Doors," "Enigma" and "Cry Freedom."

Mbatha-Raw, who will play Ophelia, is currently in the National's production of David Hare's Gethsemane, and has previously been seen onstage in Big White Fog (Almeida) and Romeo and Juliet and Antony and Cleopatra (Manchester Royal Exchange). Her TV credits include "Bonekickers," "Lost in Austen," "Fallout," "Trial & Retribution," "Dr. Who" and "London."

Ryan, who was previously seen in the Donmar's production of Peter Gill's Small Change, returns to play Horatio. His other theatre credits include Lovely & Misfit (Trafalgar Studios) and Sejanus, A New Way to Please You, Believe What You Will and Speaking Like Magpies (all for the RSC). For television his credits include "Wild Decembers," "Collision," "Torchwood," "Consenting Adults," "The Tudors" and "Mine All Mine."

Waldmann, who is currently appearing in the Donmar's Twelfth Night at Wyndham's, will play Laertes. Other theatre credits include Troilus and Cressida (Barbican), Angry Young Man (Trafalgar Studios and Edinburgh Festival), Macbeth (West Yorkshire Playhouse) and Big Love (Gate Theatre).

Wilton, who last year appeared at the Donmar in The Family Reunion and The Chalk Garden (winning the Evening Standard Award for Best Actress), and has previously appeared there in John Gabriel Borkman, The Little Foxes and A Kind of Alaska, returns to play Gertrude. Other theatre credits include Women Beware Women (RSC), The House of Bernarda Alba (National Theatre) and Afterplay (The Gate, Dublin; Charleston, USA and West End). For television her work includes "Half Broken Things," "Dr. Who," "Bob and Rose," "Victoria and Albert" and "Wives and Daughters"; and for film, "The History Boys," "Match Point," "Pride and Prejudice," "Calendar Girls" and "Iris."
