Performances begin July 16 in the Delacorte Theater for The Public Theater's second, free Shakespeare in the Park production of the summer: a modern-day version of William Shakespeare's Coriolanus. In the title role is Jonathan Cake, who was previously seen as Antony in The Public's 2014 production of Antony and Cleopatra.

Coriolanus is the story of a general who is voted into power by a populace hungry for change, and the unraveling that follows.
