News Coughtry and Brooksher Are Romeo and Juliet for Shakespeare Theatre of NJ The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's new production of Romeo and Juliet, Oct. 15-Nov. 16 at the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, will feature Jordan Coughtry as Romeo and Rebecca Brooksher as Juliet.

Coughtry played Mozart in the company's recent run of Amadeus. Brooksher appeared in Lincoln Center Theater's Dying City, for which she earned a Lucille Lortel award nomination for Best Actress.

Director David Kennedy's cast for Shakespeare's poetry-kissed tale of romantic woe includes Chris Landis as Benvolio; Shawn Fagan as Mercutio; Tristan Colton as Tybalt; Jodie Lynne McClintock as Nurse; David Manis as Friar Laurence; Bill Christ as Capulet; Bernard Burak Sheredy as Montague; Judith Lightfoot Clark as Lady Capulet; Jon Barker, Robyn Berg, Nick Farco, Mark Farr, Sean Hudock, Dan Lendzian, Tim Nicolai and Todd Quick.

The production team includes set designer Tobin Ost, costume designer Jennifer Moeller, lighting designer Sara Sidman and sound designer Greg Hennigan. Doug West is fight choreographer and Kathy Snyder is the production stage manager.

Opening night is Oct. 18. Performances are Tuesdays through Sundays at The Shakespeare Theatre’s Main Stage, the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Avenue on the Drew University campus, in Madison, NJ.
