Milky White sings Aug. 5 when Chad Kimball — the young actor who has received much acclaim for his portrayal of the lovable cow in Broadway's Into the Woods revival — will perform in concert at the Ars Nova Theater.
Part of the Broadway Spotlight Series, which recently presented Aida's Felicia Finley and former Rent-er Anthony Rapp, Kimball will remove his bovine outfit and offer an evening of songs in human form. Showtime is 8 PM.

Gordon Greenberg, artistic director of the Spotlight Series, recently explained, "This is an incredible opportunity to see some of Broadway's most exciting young talent as individual performers in an up-close and personal environment. For about the cost of a movie, audiences get a completely original evening with a major talent. We are committed to offering this sort of an intimate platform to performers, composers and lyricists who wish to explore new material in a comfortable setting."
On Broadway Chad Kimball was seen in Frank Wildhorn's The Civil War, a musical he also toured nationally. His other theatrical credits include productions of Chess, Godspell, Sweeney Todd, Equus, The Winter's Tale and Three Sisters. A graduate of the Boston Conservatory, Kimball is also the understudy for Jack — of beanstalk fame — in Into the Woods. The Ars Nova Theater is located at 511 W. 54th Street in New York City. Tickets are priced at $12 and are available, cash only, at the door. For reservations and information, call (212) 977-1700.
