News Cuccioli to Helm Jekyll & Hyde at Westchester Broadway Theatre Actor Robert Cuccioli, who earned a Tony Award nomination for his work in the dual title roles of Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde, will direct the gothic pop musical at the Westchester Broadway Theatre in September.

Cuccioli originated the roles of Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde in the 1997 Broadway production of the musical that features book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse and music by Wildhorn. He also played the role in the pre-Broadway tour of the musical that originated at Houston's Alley Theatre. Jekyll & Hyde will open Sept. 30 at WBT and run through Feb. 2, 2011. The production will begin a holiday hiatus Nov. 29-Dec. 27. Casting is currently underway.

Earlier this season Cuccioli appeared at WBT as Guido Contini in Maury Yeston's Nine. He reprised his performance in the title role of Yeston's Phantom at WBT in 2007.
