Sondheim Unplugged launched at the Beechman last summer and features an array of cabaret and theatre performers, as well as special guest stars who appeared in the original cast or revivals of Sondheim's musicals. The performers are accompanied solely by piano.

Among the Sondheim veterans performing June 27 are Davie (2009 A Little Night Music revival), Rice (Sweeney Todd), Joy Franz (Into the Woods) and Matt Castle (2006 Company revival).

The evening will also feature Secret Garden Tony winner Eagan, Emily Bergl (The Rivals), Lisa Asher, Baby Jane Dexter, Rob Maitner, Karen Oberlin and Julie Reyburn.

Phil Geoffrey Bond will host the 7 PM concert. Benjamin Rauhala will serve as musical director.
