John Gould Rubin directs the play, which runs through July 18 at the downtown Manhattan company's home.

Set in 1970s Brooklyn, the new drama "centers on four childhood friends who find themselves in a life-threatening situation that challenges the validity of the virtues they've adopted from a sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll culture," according to Rattlestick notes.

Klores is an award-winning director of the films "The Boys of 2nd Street Park" (2003), "Ring of Fire: The Emile Griffith Story" (2005) and "Crazy Love" (2007) — the 2008 Independent Spirit Award for best documentary film. Other films include "Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks," "Black Magic" and "Viva Baseball."

Driver (The Retributionists, Slipping), Inzerillo (Dutch Heart of Man, Pretty Chin Up) and Segal (The Miracle Worker, The Cherry Orchard) are joined by Steven Marcus (Ah, Wilderness; One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest), Billy Tangradi (Proposals, The Credeaux Canvas), Dave Tawil (A View From The Bridge, Pawn Shop Accordion) and Joanne Tucker (Elektra in Orestes, Twelfth Night).

The design team features David Rockwell (scenic), Clint Ramos (costume), Nicole Pearce (lighting), Jill BC Du Boff (sound) and Eugenia Furneaux-Arends (properties). Meredith Dixon is production stage manager, and Melissa Mae Gregus serves as assistant stage manager. The new Rattlestick season will also include Heidi Schreck's There Are No More Big Secrets, Florencia Lozano's underneathmybed, Adam Rapp's Hallway Trilogy and Suzanne Vega's Carson McCullers Talks About Love.
