In addition to Ivey, the Williams one-act will feature Robert Bogue ("Guiding Light") as Dr. "Sugar" Cukrowicz. Casting for the roles of Catharine Holly and Georgy Holly has not been announced. As previously reported, Jodie Markell, who directed the Williams film "The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond," will stage Suddenly, Last Summer on Sept. 26 at 6 PM.

Suddenly, Last Summer, according to the Williams Festival, "unfolds as a crime story told by a traumatized young woman. A young doctor, tempted by a rich woman who might fund his research, must decide with whom to side."

Dana Ivey earned Tony nominations for her performances in Butley, Heartbreak House, Sunday in the Park with George, The Last Night of Ballyhoo and The Rivals and won Drama Desk Awards for The Last Night of Ballyhoo and Sex and Longing. She appeared in the original Off-Broadway staging of Driving Miss Daisy and in The Savannah Disputation at Playwrights Horizons last season.

The Williams Festival will also offer Orpheus Descending (Sept. 23-25); Eugene O'Neill's Diff'rent (Sept. 24-26); and a double-bill of American Gothic and 27 Wagons Full of Cotton (Sept. 23-26).
