This is the Pittsburgh premiere of the show, directed by Avner Eisenberg (aka Avner the Eccentric). The "vaudeville whodunit" has been seen in Chicago, Philadelphia and Maine.
In Help! Help!, all the performers in a touring variety show have been murdered, so it's up to Drew the Dramatic Fool to save the show — or he's next. The show "features visual comedy, high-stakes drama and gratuitous juggling."
For the past 20 years, Drew Richardson has performed in theatres large and small, from Reno to Chicago to Times Square. His one-minute silent movies have been shown before major motion pictures around the U.S.
The Pittsburgh-based actor was selected for inclusion in the Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour Roster, and begins his 2005 tour in May.
Help! Help! plays the Pittsburgh CLO Late Night Cabaret at Theater Square at 10:15 PM April 23. The Cabaret at Theater Square is located at 655 Penn Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.
