News Dancers Over 40 Will Present Legacy Awards Dec. 12; Honorees Announced Dancers Over 40 will honor Edmund Gaynes, the producer who helped launch the popular annual discussion panels featuring veteran Broadway dancers talking about their experiences, at a special luncheon at Swing 46 Restaurant, Dec. 12 at 2 PM.

The luncheon will be hosted by Richard Skipper  (as Carol Channing) and will also honor five male dancers for their careers and legacies. The honorees will include Fred Curt (Call Me Madam, "Bye Bye Birdie," "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers"), Harvey Evans (Leap of Faith, Follies, West Side Story), Stuart Hodes (Paint Your Wagon, Kismet), Richard Korthaze (Lincoln Center Anything Goes, original Pippin and Chicago) and Ken Urmston (Evita, New Girl in Town). Gaynes' current producing credits include Zero Hour, Dietrich and Chevalier: The Musical, Black Angels Over Tuskegee, Danny and Sylvia: The Danny Kaye Musical and the upcoming, Broadway-aimed Gilligan's Island: The Musical. As a performer, his credits include Broadway, Off-Broadway and TV shows including Mary Martin's "Peter Pan" and "The Ed Sullivan Show." He operates St. Luke's Theatre, where  Dancers Over 40 holds its discussion panels, and Actors Temple Theatre.
