News "Dancing on Ice" Winner Sam Attwater Joins West End's Dreamboats and Petticoats Sam Attwater, winner of TV's "Dancing on Ice" celebrity ice-skating competition earlier this year, will join the West End company of Dreamboats and Petticoats, currently running at the Playhouse Theatre. He will begin performances July 18.

Attwater is best known for playing Leon in TV's "Eastenders." He will play loveable rogue Norman in Dreamboats and Petticoats.

The show, inspired by the smash hit album, features songs by Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Neil Sedaka, Eddie Cochran, Dion, Del Shannon and many more. It is written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (TV's "Goodnight Sweetheart," "Birds of a Feather," "The New Statesman" and "Shine On Harvey") and produced by Bill Kenwright and Laurie Mansfield in association with Universal Music.
