Classic Arts News Daniel Barenboim to Lead Free Chicago Symphony Concert September 25 Music director Daniel Barenboim and the Chicago Symphony will perform a free concert at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Chicago's Millennium Park on September 25.
The program includes Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, with Barenboim at the piano, and Ravel's Rapsodie espagnole, Pavane pour une infante d_funte, Alborada del gracioso, and Bol_ro.

Fifteen years ago this month, Barenboim debuted as CSO music director at a free concert in Grant Park. He completes his tenure in June with a series of performances of the ninth symphonies of Mahler, Bruckner, and Beethoven.
