Pierrepont Finch in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed…, will play poet Allen Ginsberg in the independent thriller film "Kill Your Darlings," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Directed by John Krokidas, “Kill Your Darlings” will also star Elizabeth Olsen, Dane DeHaan and Jack Huston.

In the film a murder in 1944 brings together the poets of the beat generation, including Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.

“Kill Your Darlings,” from Killer Films, Benaroya Pictures and Dontanville / Frattaroli Management, is scheduled for a 2013 release.

Radcliffe, who originated the role of Finch in the How to Succeed revival, was nominated for Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk awards for his performance. He has also been seen on Broadway in Equus and is best known for his work in the "Harry Potter" movie series. His upcoming film, “The Woman in Black,” will hit theatres Feb. 3.
