News Darlene Love Will Be Part of David Letterman's Final Holiday Broadcast The "Late Show with David Letterman" will offer its final holiday broadcast Dec. 19 beginning at 11:35 PM ET on CBS.

Darlene Love, seen on Broadway in Hairspray, will perform "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," backed by "Late Show" musical director Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra. Love, who first performed the song for Letterman on “Late Night” Dec. 16, 1986, will mark the 21st time in 28 years that she has sung this holiday classic on the show.

Jay Thomas will return to participate in the show’s final holiday quarterback challenge, and Josh Brolin, star of the new film “Inherent Vice," will also pay a visit.

"Late Show with David Letterman" is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Matt Roberts, Jude Brennan, Maria Pope and Rob Burnett are the executive producers. Jerry Foley is the director.

Letterman's final broadcast on CBS is scheduled for May 20, 2015.
