Piece by piece productions, Rising Phoenix Repertory and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater present the limited engagement that begins previews June 6 towards a June 21 opening. It will play the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater through July 14.

In addition to Buddeke (Gypsy, Superior Donuts), Chlumsky (So Help Me God, The Fabulous Life of a Size Zero) and Buell (Equus, The History Boys), the cast will include Hannah Cabell (A Man for All Seasons, Compulsion), Eddie Cahill ("CSI: New York," "Friends") and Jake Silbermann ("As the World Turns," Phaedra Backwards).

Here's how the play is billed: "The war in Vietnam is over and Brad, an ex-serviceman, lands in L.A. to start a new life. When he winds up trashed in Connie and Linda's kitchen after a wild night of partying, the three strike a deal for an arrangement that has hilarious and devastating consequences for everyone. Or are they non-consequences? Inspired by 1970s sitcoms, 1950s existentialist comedy, Chekhov, and disco anthems, 3C is a terrifying yet amusing look at a culture that likes to amuse itself, even as it teeters on the brink of ruin."

The production will have scenic design by John McDermott, costume design by Oana Botez Ban, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, sound design by Matt Tierney and choreography by Deney Terrio.

Piece by piece productions and Rising Phoenix Repertory presented David Adjmi's Elective Affinities Off-Broadway with Soho Rep earlier this season. His plays also include Stunning, Marie Antoinette, The Evildoers, Strange Attractors and Caligula.

For tickets, priced $55, phone (212) 279-4200 or visit ticketcentral.com. The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater is located at 224 Waverly Place.
