News Davison, Brenneman, Perkins and Malick Set for Canterbury Tales Readings Staged readings of James R. Winker's adaptation of The Canterbury Tales, which premiered in 1984 at the Mark Taper Forum, will be presented Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 at the Rudolph Steiner Community Center Theatre in Pasadena, CA.

Presented by the Highland Hall Waldorf School Community Players, the evenings will benefit the new Highland Hall Waldorf School Performing Arts Theatre and Science Complex.

The 8:15 PM performances will boast the talents of Bruce Davison, Amy Brenneman, Brooke Smith, Elizabeth Perkins, Saul Rubinek, Bruce Weitz, Fred Goss, Jim Ortlieb and Wendie Malick.

In a statement Davison, who was part of the 1984 Canterbury Tales cast, said, "This is one of the funniest, most well-written adaptations for stage I have ever had the pleasure of performing and I am honored to do it again for this pioneering, innovative school."

The evenings will begin at 7:30 PM with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
