News De Haas and Von Essen Join Broadway Unplugged Concert As previously announced, the fourth annual Broadway Unplugged concert — featuring Broadway stars performing without microphones — will be presented Nov. 19 at Town Hall.

Created and hosted by Scott Siegel, the evening will feature tunes from the American musical theatre. Newcomers to the evening include Darius de Haas and Max von Essen. Those performers who were already scheduled to lend their unamplified voices to the 8 PM event include Sarah Uriarte Berry, Marc Kudisch, Aaron Lazar, Beth Leavel, Michael McElroy, Sarah Jane McMahon, William Michals, Paul Schoeffler, Emily Skinner and Martin Vidnovic. In a recent statement, Siegel said, "It's exciting to watch the evolution of Broadway Unplugged as we continue to add new great voices to the family of singers who have performed in this annual event. Marc Kudisch and Emily Skinner continue to be its foundation but we're adding new 'booming' talent all the time. Aaron Lazar, Max Von Essen, Sarah Jane McMahon and Michael McElroy are all new to Unplugged, although the first three already proved their mettle by bringing down the house at Town Hall by singing unplugged in Broadway by the Year last season. And I've been trying to get Michael McElroy for the longest time; his schedule finally meshed with ours. When I finish casting, this will be a roster of stars that will thrillingly continue the Unplugged tradition."

Tickets for Broadway Unplugged, priced $25-$75, are currently on sale by calling (212) 307-4100 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.

Town Hall is located in Manhattan at 123 West 43rd Street.
