The 11 PM singing competition will also feature guest judges Donna Lynne Champlin (Sweeney Todd, Love Jerry), Merle Dandridge (Tarzan, Spamalot), and composer Tom Kitt (High Fidelity, Next to Normal).

The theme for the Sept. 26 event is "It's Not a Revival, It's a Revolution." Among the songwriters represented will be Michael Arden, Joe Iconis, Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, Joel B. New, Gordon Leary and Ryan Scott Oliver, as well as Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Semi-finalists for "Next Broadway Sensation" include Frances Bordlee, Shawna M. Hamic, Mike Harrison, Omar Lopez-Cepero, Jennifer Sánchez, Nesha Ward and Jamaal Wilson.

Featuring musical direction by Christopher D. Littlefield and direction by David F. Chapman, "Next Broadway Sensation" determines its finalists through audience voting. The finale will take place Oct. 3.
