Arnaz (They're Playing Our Song, The Witches of Eastwick) was cast as Violet, opposite Holly Davis as Judy Bernley and Shayla Osborn as Doralee Rhodes. Hoty (Follies, The Will Rogers Follies) performed the role of Violet on the national tour of 9 to 5 in 2010.

"I am so disappointed that, due to a very recent back injury, I will now not be able to perform in North Shore Music Theatre's production of 9 to 5: The Musical. It's disappointing to me for so many reasons, especially after meeting with the creative team involved and knowing what a first rate production this is going to be," Arnaz said in a statement.

Directed and choreographed by Richard Stafford, performances begin Sept. 25 for a run through Oct. 7. 9 to 5 The Musical is based on the film of the same name and features Dolly Parton's original hit title song along with her Tony Award and Grammy-nominated score.

The cast also features George Dvorsky as Franklin Hart, Jr., Kathy St. George as Roz Keith, and an ensemble including Amy Bodnar, Patrick Boyd, Jermiah Ginn, Derek Hanson, Kevin B. McGlynn, Natalie Newman, Rommel Pierre O'Choa, Sarah M. O'Connor, Peter Romagna, Shannon Lea Smith, Jonathan Stahl, Merrill West and Toni Elizabeth White.

Featuring a book by Patricia Resnick (co-writer of the original screenplay), 9 to 5 The Musical, according to press notes, "tells the story of three unlikely friends who conspire to take control of their company and learn there’s nothing they can’t do — even in a man’s world."

The 9 to 5 creative team includes Mark Hartman (music director), Phillip Witcomb (scenic designer), Paula Peasley-Ninestein (costume designer), Phillip Watson (lighting designer) and Jessica Paz (sound designer).
