The musical was conceived and developed by David De Silva, who also conceived and produced both the original "Fame" film and the subsequent musical.

Fame Forever – Talent Springs Eternal features music by Steve Margoshes, book and lyrics by Ben H. Winters and orchestrations by Danny Troob and Margoshes.

Recorded at Kilgore Sound in New York City under the direction of Rick Hip-Flores, the cast includes Justin Keyes, Emily Vasquez, Annie Golden, Sara Schmidt, Jared Joseph, Caesar Samayoa, Regina Le Vert, David Perlman, Amy Decker, Gabrielle Ruiz, Britney Coleman, Nicholas Rodriguez and Marshal Carolan.

The show is licensed worldwide by Music Theatre International.

"It's 20 years since the original musical's characters graduated from New York's famed High School of Performing Arts, now all grown up, with two of their own children attending The Fame School," according to press notes. "The 20th Reunion of the class of ‘84 brings them together and the story shows how talent is reborn in the young, who carry the torch, like spiritual DNA, in their ambition for fame. The Spirit of Carmen Diaz, still 18, also returns to the school to discover why she never graduated with her class and how life and time have passed her by. Set between 2004 and 2014, Fame Forever-Talent Springs Eternal is a very contemporary work."
