Presented in the Peter B. Lewis Theater at the Guggenheim Museum, the first offering will be excerpts from Wainwright's opera Prima Donna, Jan 22, 2012, at 7:30 PM. New York City Opera general manager George Steel will moderate a post-performance discussion with the composer and members of the creative team. The event will also be live-streamed at ustream.tv/worksandprocess.

New York Theatre Workshop will give audiences a glimpse of An Iliad, the new take on Homer's classic from director Lisa Peterson and Tony-winning actors O’Hare (Assassins, Take Me Out) and Spinella (Angels in America). It will take place Feb. 5, 2012, at 7:30 PM.

Additional events include the Charles Wuorinen cantata It Happens Like This, staged by Ken Rus Schmoll (Feb. 19-20, 2012); and a performance by the American Ballet Theatre (April 29-30, 2012).
