Minnelli will be joined by musical director Billy Stritch for the 6 PM performance and signing.

The acclaimed performer is scheduled to sing three songs: "I Would Never Leave You," "And the World Goes Round" and "I Love a Violin." She will be accompanied by Johnny Rodgers, Cortes Alexander, Jim Caruso and Tiger Martina with Stritch on piano.

A flyer detailing the evening was recently posted at the Manhattan store:

"Liza Minnelli will perform . . . before signing her new CD, 'Liza's at the Palace.'

"Ms. Minnelli will only sign 'Liza's at the Palace.' "She will sign up to 5 CDs per customer.

"We will give out wristbands beginning at 9 AM on Feb. 3 to those who purchase 'Liza's at the Palace.' We will give out one wristband per person.

"The first 160 customers will be given pink wristbands and guaranteed a seat in the event space. Wristbands will be numbered and we will seat customers in numerical order — so there will be no need to remain on line all day.

"We ask that customers with pink wristbands return to the store by 5 PM and join the line outside the building. We will bring these people up to the event space at about 5:30 PM.

"We will give purple wristbands to additional customers. These customers will be able to get CDs signed, but we can't guarantee that they will be able to hear or see the performance.

"This second group can line up on the third floor beginning at 3 PM.

"Given the size of the crowd, there will be no opportunities for photographs with Ms. Minnelli."

"Liza's at The Palace," a new two-CD set celebrating Liza Minnelli's recent return to Broadway's Palace Theatre, will arrive in stores Feb. 3 on the Hybrid Recordings label.
