As previously reported, the 48th season of the two-time Tony Award-winning resident theatre in East Haddam, CT, will feature the Gershwin-fueled My One And Only, April 15-June 25, 2011; the classic Show Boat, July 1-Sept. 11, 2011; and the film noir-kissed musical comedy City of Angels, Sept. 23-Nov. 27, 2011.

Roderick (known for the popular I Love a Piano) will direct My One and Only, the tap-happy 1920s-set musical comedy first produced in the 1980s (the libretto is by Peter Stone and Timothy S. Mayer). Kelli Barclay will choreograph.

Ruggiero (Ella, Broadway's Looped) will direct Show Boat, the groundbreaking musical by Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II classic. The choreographer will be named.

Tresnjak (Goodspeed's Carnival!) will stage City of Angels by composer Cy Coleman, lyricist David Zippel and writer Larry Gelbart. The jazzy musical shows side-by-side stories about a real detective-fiction writer and the film version of his famous character. Peggy Hickey (Goodspeed's Carnival!) will choreograph.
