Tara Finney Productions’ 20th anniversary staging of Enda Walsh’s Disco Pigs has extended its run at Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre. The production, starring Harry Potter’s Evanna Lynch and Dublin by Lamplight's Colin Campbell (both reprising their roles from the London staging) will now run through March 4 instead of the previously announced February 18.

Disco Pigs played an acclaimed run at London’s Trafalgar Studios in 2017, marking 20 years since the play first made a splash at the 1997 Edinburgh Fringe. In the two-hander, best friends named Pig and Runt celebrate a joint birthday; as night falls, the disco and drink take hold, and things spiral violently out of control.

The Off-Broadway production began performances January 5.

Walsh is a Tony winner for the musical Once; his other works include Arlington, Ballyturk, and Lazarus, the musical he co-wrote with David Bowie.

The creative team for Disco Pigs Off-Broadway includes set and costume designer Richard Kent (Man to Man), lighting designer Elliot Griggs (Pomona), sound designer Giles Thomas (Outside Mullingar), and movement director Naomi Said (Beginning).
