News Dixon, Davis and Howard to Be Part of Iconis and Maddock Variety Hour at Ars Nova Broadway's Jerry Dixon and Mary Bond Davis will be among the talent performing the music of Joe Iconis and the lyrics of Robert Maddock on Sept. 24 at Ars Nova.

The evening, entitled The Iconis and Maddock Variety Hour, is presented as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Press notes describe it as "a spasmodic and gadget-laden concert of your favorite Iconis-Maddock tunes, featuring celebrity guests, Christmas lights, a guy who puts things up his nose and a real live chihuahua. So snuggle into your favorite pea-green papasan chair, fix yourself a double-helping of Aunt Geraldine's famous Jell-o mold, and prepare to be rocked and shocked by an evening more electrifying than a blow-drier in a bathtub."

Joining Dixon (Once on This Island) and Davis (Hairspray) for the evening are Lisa Howard (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Lorinda Lisitza (Happy End, Triumphant Baby), Chandra Lee Schwartz (High School Musical), Jason “SweetTooth” Williams (Crossing Brooklyn), Lance Rubin (The Black Suits), Matt Wilson (TV's "Cyberchase"), Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby), Katie Schorr (MTV) and Mike Pettry (Things To Ruin). John Simpkins will direct the evening of song.

Maddock and Iconis previously collaborated on the rock musical The Black Suits. Iconis is the recipient of a 2007 Kleban Award, a 2006 Larson Award, a Nightlife Award and a Daryl Roth Award. Maddock is a 2006 Daryl Roth Award winner for Plastic! The Musical and is the recipient of a 2007 Jonathan Larson Foundation Grant.

The Iconis and Maddock Variety Hour will begin at 8 PM. Tickets are available by calling (212) 352-3101 or by visiting www.NYMF.org.

The Ars Nova is located at 511 West 54th Street at 10th Avenue in Manhattan.
