Joshua Harmon’s Admissions, which played Off-Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater last year, will make its London premiere this winter. Performances will run February 28 through May 25 at the West End’s Trafalgar Studios.

Leading the cast will be Alex Kingston, known for her performances on Doctor Who, Lost in Austen, The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders, and ER. She returns to the stage after appearing in such productions as Macbeth opposite Kenneth Branagh and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest with Christina Slater.

Following the London bow, the production, helmed by Daniel Aukin, will tour the U.K. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The drama from the Significant Other and Bad Jews playwright follows Sherri (Kingston), an admissions officer at an exclusive college prep school trying to combat institutionalized racism. Her son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, causing his parents' progressive values to clash with his personal ambitions.
