News Donmar's Guys and Dolls Finds Its Sarah Brown Jenna Russell will play Salvation Army worker Sarah Brown in the Donmar Warehouse's upcoming production of Guys and Dolls.

A spokesperson for the production confirmed to Playbill.com that Brown will join the previously announced Ewan McGregor (Sky Masterson), Douglas Hodge (Nathan Detroit) and Jane Krakowski (Miss Adelaide). Guys and Dolls is set to begin previews at London's Piccadilly Theatre May 19 with an official opening June 1.

The show is a Donmar Warehouse production — Michael Grandage is the company’s artistic director — the first they’ve originated outside their tiny Covent Garden base.

Jenna Russell has been seen on stage in High Society, Martin Guerre and Into the Woods. Her television credits include "Men Only," "Born and Bred" and "Peak Practice."

The original Broadway production of Guys and Dolls opened at the 46th Street Theatre in Nov. 1950, running 1,200 performances before closing Nov. 28, 1953. Among the premiere cast were Robert Alda as Sky Masterson, Isabel Bigley as Sarah Brown, Sam Levene as Nathan Detroit and Vivian Blaine as Miss Adelaide. Blaine re-created her role for the 1955 film, which also starred Marlon Brando as Sky Masterson, Jean Simmons as Sarah Brown and Frank Sinatra as Nathan Detroit.
