News Don't Cry Out Loud, Sing: The Boy From Oz Sheet Music Now Available For all Peter Allen (or Hugh Jackman) wannabes out there, the sheet music for Broadway musical The Boy From Oz has just been released by Hal Leonard Corporation.

The deluxe songbook features full-page, color photos from the current Broadway and a selection of 15 of Peter Allen's memorable songs heard in the show including "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)," "Don't Cry Out Loud," "Everything Old Is New Again," "I Go to Rio," "I Honestly Love You," "Bi-Coastal," "Come Save Me," "I Still Call Australia Home," "I'd Rather Leave While I'm in Love," "If You Were Wondering," "The Lives of Me," "Love Don't Need a Reason," "Not the Boy Next Door," "Quiet Please, There's a Lady on Stage" and "You and Me."

Sheet music (for piano and vocal) is currently available through the Hal Leonard website (www.halleonard.com) and other music retailers.

The Boy from Oz is "a musical true story" of the late entertainer Peter Allen who was a protege of Judy Garland — and briefly married to her daughter Liza Minnelli. Martin Sherman (Bent) provides the libretto for the score which features the music and lyrics of the pop superstar.

The new musical began on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre Sept. 16 and opened Oct. 16. Philip Wm. McKinley directs.
