As reported on Oct. 30, Dress Circle will be reopened Nov. 23 by actress and Chicago star Claire Sweeney. The shop was badly damaged by arson in August.
If Dress Circle needed any confirmation of its place in the heart of the theatre industry, the long list of stars and regular customers queuing up to donate their services to the Gala re-opening would be enough; throughout the day, there will a running cabaret of West End singers, an open mike spot for aspiring stars, and events for the public and professionals alike to relax and enjoy.
Dress Circle will open at 10 AM with an official reopening by Miss Sweeney at 1 PM, cabaret shows 1:30 and 5:45 PM, open mike sessions, competitions and special events throughout the day.
Dress Circle is located at 57-59 Monmouth Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9DG.
