News Drew McVety, Kate Nowlin and Henry Stram Cast in Rattlestick World Premiere of Charles Ives Take Me Home Casting has been announced for the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater’s world premiere of Jessica Dickey's Charles Ives Take Me Home, which will begin performances May 29 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

Directed by Daniella Topol, the production will officially open June 13 at 7 PM. Performances will continue through June 29.

The cast will include Drew McVety, Kate Nowlin and Henry Stram.

"When a father’s love of music clashes with his daughter’s passion for basketball, modernist composer Charles Ives is the perfect referee," according to press notes. "Charles Ives Take Me Home is a comedic and poignant story of dissonance, defense, and devotion."

The production will also feature scenic design by Andromache Chalfant, costume design by Michael Krass, lighting design by Austin Smith, sound design by Aaron Meicht and Daniel Baker and property design by Andrew Diaz. The production manager is Eugenia Furneaux; the production stage manager is Kate Croasdale; and the assistant production manager is Alling Langin.

Show times will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7 PM, Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 3 PM and 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater is located at 224 Waverly Place. Tickets are $55 for general admission, $15 for patrons under 30 and $10 for students (with valid ID), and are available through www.rattlestick.org or by calling Ovationtix at (866) 811-4111.
