Aya Aziz begins previews March 28 in Eh Dah? Questions For My Father, her new musical about discerning truth and narrative in a post-9/11 world. Co-starring with her are Olivia Abiassi (Delicacy of a Puffin Heart), Ali Andre Ali (Cereals), Jenna Bosco (Anything New), and Waseem Alzer (We Live in Cairo).

A Hypokrit Theater Company and Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop production, Eh Dah? will run through April 14 at NYTW's Fourth Street Theatre. Hypokrit's founding artistic director Arpita Mukherjee directs; Aziz wrote the book, music, and lyrics.

Eh Dah? was previously seen at the 2016 New York Musical Festival, where it was the recipient of the Best Book and Outstanding Individual Performance Awards. Spanning generations in Egypt and America, the musical follows a family divided across continents and turbulent political landscapes as they search for home and belonging.

The Off-Broadway production will feature scenic design by Mikiko Suzuki MacAdams, lighting design by Marie Yokoyama, sound design by Brendan Aenes, and costume design by Dina El-Aziz. Noriko Sunamoto will serve as music supervisor, Rachel Sussman will serve as executive producer, Li Kennedy will be line producer, SL Theatricals will serve as general manager, and Emma Frances Philipar will serve as production stage manager. Dramaturgy is by Molly Houlahan.
