News Elaine Paige to Tour with Centre Stage Concert Britain's leading musical theatre actress, Elaine Paige, will tour Australia and New Zealand this fall with her concert act Centre Stage.

Presented by Lunchbox Theatrical Productions, Qdos Entertainment and Jon Nicholls Productions, Paige will play Sydney, Perth, Auckland, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne during her tour, which kicks off Sept. 30. Paige will offer tunes from her award-winning career, including "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," "I Know Him So Well" and "Memory." In a statement producers James Cundall and Jon Nicholls said, "As musical theatre producers, we are terribly excited and very proud to be presenting one of the world's greatest musical theatre performers. Elaine Paige is, without doubt, a superstar."

Paige's Australia/New Zealand concert schedule follows:
Sept. 30 at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney
Oct. 4 at the Burswood Theatre in Perth
Oct. 8 at the Civic Theatre in Auckland
Oct. 11 at the Convention Centre in Brisbane
Oct. 15 at the Entertainment Centre in Adelaide
Oct. 19 at Hamer Hall in Melbourne

Arguably Britain's most successful musical theatre actress, Elaine Paige has starred on the London stage in Evita, Cats, Chess, Anything Goes, Piaf, Sunset Boulevard and The King and I. She made her Broadway debut to much acclaim in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard, and her recordings are numerous. Paige recently appeared in the New York City Opera's production of Sweeney Todd, earning a Drama Desk Award nomination for her performance as Mrs. Lovett. She currently hosts a radio program on BBC Radio 2 entitled "Elaine Paige On Sunday."
