News Elaine Stritch Will Return to the Carlyle in the Fall; Season Announced The Carlyle Hotel has announced the 2011 fall season of performers at the Café Carlyle.

Tony and Emmy Award winner (and resident leading lady) Elaine Stritch will open the fall season in a three-week engagement beginning Sept. 13. Elaine Stritch At Home at the Carlyle: Singin' Sondheim... Again. Why Not? will continue through Oct. 8.

Award-winning vocalist Clint Holmes will follow when he makes his Café Carlyle debut in a tribute to Bobby Short Oct. 11-29. Husband and wife singing duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey will spend the month of November in residency with an all-new program running Nov. 1-26.

The fall season will conclude with vocalist Steve Tyrell, who will be in residence Nov. 29-Dec. 31.

Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will once again perform on Monday evenings, Sept. 12-Dec. 19.
