Contact, which runs June 10-29 at the Massachusetts venue, will co-star the aforementioned Emick (The Boy From Oz, Damn Yankees) as Michael Wiley with Naomi Hubert (Frogs, The Producers) as The Girl in the Yellow Dress.

And, the season's third offering, Bye Bye Birdie, will boast Bianca Marroquin (Chicago, The Pajama Game) as Rose Alvarez and James Patterson (State) as Albert Peterson. Birdie will play the North Shore July 15-Aug. 3.

As previously announced, the upcoming season — which pays tribute to director-choreographer Susan Stroman and marks the inaugural season for North Shore's new artistic director and executive producer, Barry Ivan — will also boast productions of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Aug. 12-31), Show Boat (Sept. 23-Oct. 12) and 42nd Street (Oct. 28-Nov. 23).

And, in September the North Shore will launch a new series entitled "Screen to Stage." The series, which will provide a "unique look at popular Broadway musicals whose origins are based in some of the silver screen's most beloved films," will kick off with the Tony-winning musical The Wiz. A cast (to be announced at a later date) will perform the 1975 musical in concert form backed by a full orchestra; performance dates are Sept. 5, 6 and 7.
