Plays by Martin McDonagh and Steve Martin head the list of plays comprising Ensemble Theatre Company's new season, which kicks off Oct. 1, 1999, and runs through July 23, 2000, marking ETC's 20th anniversary.

McDonagh, the hot young Irish playwright, will be represented with The Cripple of Inishmaan, scheduled for Oct. 1-31. Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile follows, Dec. 3-Jan. 2, 2000.

The third play of the season will be How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel, Feb. 4-March 5, 2000.

ETC's spring plays will be Trains by Barbara Lebow (April 7-May 7, 2000); and As Bees in Honey Drown by Douglas Carter Beane.
