News Ephraim, Friedman, O'Connell, DeHaan and Tolson to Face End Days Off-Broadway Casting has been announced for the Off-Broadway production of Deborah Zoe Laufer's End Days, which will begin performances at the Ensemble Studio Theatre March 25.

Lisa Peterson (The Poor Itch) directs a cast including Molly Ephraim (Spelling Bee, Into the Woods), Dane DeHaan (Sixty Miles to Silver Lake), Peter Friedman (Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island, Ragtime), Deidre O'Connell (The Poor Itch, Looking for the Pony) and Paco Tolson (Soul Samurai). In End Days, according to EST, "Sixteen-year-old Rachel Stein is having a bad year. Her father hasn't changed out of his pajamas since 9/11. Her mother has begun a close, personal relationship with Jesus. Her new neighbor, a 16-year-old Elvis impersonator, has fallen for her, hard. And the Apocalypse is coming Wednesday. Her only hope is that Stephen Hawking will save them all."

End Days made its world premiere at Florida Stage in 2007, followed by productions at the Phoenix Theater in Indianapolis and Curious Theater in Denver. In Manhattan, it will have set design by Lee Savage, lighting design by Raquel Davis, costume design by Suzanne Chesney, with sound design and original composition by Ryan Rumery.
