News Epp Will Be The Servant of Two Masters at Yale Rep John Treacy Egan, Steven Epp and Sarah Agnew have been cast in the Yale Repertory Theatre production of Carlo Goldoni's farce The Servant of Two Masters.

Christopher Bayes will direct the production that has been adapted by Constance Congdon from a translation by Christina Sibul. Performances run March 12-April 3. Agnew will appear as Beatrice, with Epp as Truffaldino and Egan as Il Dottore. The company will also feature Will Cobbs as Waiter, Liam Craig as Brighella/Porter, Allen Gilmore as Pantalone, Andy Grotelueschen as Silvio, Chris Henry as Waiter, Jesse J. Perez as Florindo, Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Clarice and Liz Wisan as Smeraldina.

According to press notes, "Identities are mistaken, engagements are broken, and lovers are reunited in Carlo Goldoni’s commedia dell’arte masterpiece when the wily—and chronically hungry—servant Truffaldino hatches a zany scheme to double his wages (and his meals) by serving two masters at once."

The Yale production will have original music by Chris Curtis and Aaron Halva, sets by Katherine Akiko Day, costumes by Valérie Thérèse Bart, lighting by Chuan-Chi Chan and sound by Nathan Roberts.
