News Euan Morton Celebrates New CD With Manhattan Concert May 29 Tony nominee Euan Morton, who will star in the Ford's Theatre's upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning musical Parade, celebrates the release of his new solo recording, "Caledonia – The Homecoming," May 29 at Birdland.

Morton's concert, part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series, is scheduled to begin at 6 PM.

"Caledonia – The Homecoming" (Lyric Partners) is an ode to Morton's homeland, Scotland. The CD, which was recorded at Bias Studios in Springfield, VA, is a mix of contemporary and standard songs, all of which pay tribute to Scotland. Song titles include “The Dark Island,” “My Love Is Like A Red, Red Rose,” “Loch Lomond,” “Danny Boy,” “Auld Lang Syne” and “Caledonia.”

Morton earned a 2004 Tony nomination as Best Actor for his work in Taboo, and appeared in the Broadway revue Sondheim on Sondheim in 2010. He recently starred in Chess at Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.
