News Evan Jonigkeit, Michel Bell and Ashley Brown Win Kevin Kline Awards Evan Jonigkeit, Michel Bell and Ashley Brown are among the winners of the 2011 Kevin Kline Awards, recognizing professional theatre in the greater St. Louis area. The awards were presented March 28 at the Loreto Hilton Center.

Jonigkeit took the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play Award for his portrayal of a young addict in High. He is currently repeating the performance opposite Kathleen Turner on Broadway. Brown, also currently on Broadway in Mary Poppins, was awarded Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical for The Sound of Music. Bell, who originated the role of Joe in the Hal Prince Broadway revival of Show Boat, was honored with the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical Award for reprising the role for St. Louis audiences.
