News Evita's Rachel Potter Makes Birdland Debut Oct. 28 Rachel Potter, who is currently portraying the Mistress in the Broadway revival of Evita, makes her Birdland debut Oct. 28.

The singing actress plays the famed jazz venue at 6 PM. Potter's special guests include Tituss Burgess, Orfeh and The Vanity Belles.

Potter is joined by musicians Miles Aubrey, Matt Hinkley, Joe Brent, Shannon Ford, Ken Dow and Mairi Dorman, with back-up vocals by Marty Thomas and Jennifer Thigpen.

The evening showcases all six songs from Potter's debut country EP "Live the Dream" as well as some original tunes and country-flavored covers.

Potter made her Broadway debut as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family following a tour with Stephen Schwartz's hit musical, Wicked.
